In-Person Fitness Training
Personal Training can be so many different things to so many different people – that’s what makes it personal!
You can choose to work out with us as often you like, but most clients opt for one to three training sessions per week for maximum effectiveness. Training sessions are 60-minutes and you have the option to train alone, with a partner or in a small group setting (usually no more than 3 people).
Depending on your goals, needs, strengths, and weaknesses we will focus on weight-loss, muscle building, injury prevention & rehab, performance training – or a combination of all of them.
Throughout our time together, we will strive to make your sessions as individualized as possible, effective, and lots of fun. When you sign up with Melissa or myself you can expect regular education, support, guidance and most of all – accountability.
Your initial consultation will cover a fitness assessment, lifestyle and nutrition evaluation, and a detailed discussion of your health and fitness goals. Your final program will be one designed just for you, so you can achieve what you actually set out to accomplish.

All one on one individual and group training takes place at the fitness and training areas at American Indoor Sports Facility, located in Carrollton, Texas, at 1400 Hebron Parkway, West Carrollton TX 75010. American Indoor is one of the best stocked workout facilities in the area with approximately 5,000 sq.ft. of workout area.
What To Expect
We work on an appointment based schedule to allow you the time required for your personal training session.
Sessions will generally be 60 minutes. Please be on time for your appointments. If you are late for a session it will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session, it will be considered a no-show and you will be required to pay the fee for the session.
Due to this schedule it is important that you give sufficient notice when you need to cancel an appointment. This means a cancellation should be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to cancel a training session within this time will result in you being charged for the session. Should you wish to reschedule an appointment, a minimum of 12 hours notice is required. We will do our best to accommodate this.
We understand that emergencies happen. We provide every client with one free short-notice cancellation. You will not be charged for your first cancellation with less than 12 hour notice. Subsequent short-notice cancellations will be charged for the session. The free short-notice cancellation only applies if Melissa or myself are notified prior to the session start time. No-shows are not eligible for the free cancellation.

AIS requires a $25 membership fee ($27.07 with tax) for all individuals.
Clients are asked to make their monthly payment via Zelle, Venmo. Cash or checks are of course still accepted.
Sessions and session packages will be pre-paid in advance and expire 90 days from the date of purchase.
