As we age, it’s no longer enough to simply hold muscles in lengthened position and “stretch” them for 30 seconds; we have to learn how to control our bodies through space so we can stretch, lengthen, and strengthen muscles the way they actually function. Practicing mobility can help you to become more mobile.

Functional strength and mobility workouts should be part of your overall workout program. Exercise is physical stress imposed upon the body; when your body is sore from a high-intensity strength, power, or metabolic conditioning workout, a low-intensity mobility workout where you move your muscles and joints through multiple planes of motion can help increase oxygen flow and be the perfect recharge to boost your energy.

Our Functional Strength & Mobility Program is designed to help you be strong, balanced & energized – moving efficiently – pain free. This program is geared to all ages and fitness levels, especially beginners and those over 40!

The focus here is on strength - stability - balance - mobility - and 360 core training. Every workout in this plan is geared towards getting stronger, in control, & more balanced – so your daily life becomes easier & safer. Functional Strength & Mobility is a program for keeping stiffness out of your body and muscles functional.

Your functional mobility workouts can be used as stand-alone workouts, or as a dynamic warmup, helping you get ready for more strenuous exercise by increasing blood flow, heart rate, joint range of motion and overall neuromuscular alertness.

With this program, as with a of our goal-oriented programs, we take into account your medical, injury and physical fitness history, your current lifestyle, your present level of fitness and type of activities, your nutritional habits and more. This information along with your goals, interests and needs, allows us to create a custom-designed program that will make it easier for you to follow and achieve results.

This 8 Week Training Program Includes:

  • 24/7 access to the Donny King Fitness App accessing daily workouts

  • Bi-weekly check-ins with Melissa or myself to make sure you are staying motivated and seeing progress

  • How-to-videos to start your program with confidence

  • Personalized dashboard to see your workouts, track results, etc. using the mobile or desktop versions of the training app

  • Video examples of all exercises and video review and feedback of your exercise form

  • Option of beginners or advanced modifications

Customized, Goal-Specific Meal Plans

  • Goal-specific calorie targets, specific macros targets, meal timing suggestions, food suggestions, etc. and nutrition education to help you understand how to put it all together

  • Meal Plan allergy options: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Gluten/Dairy Free, Vegetarian.

  • Nutrition feedback through our fitness app integration that allows us to view your calorie and macro tracking to provide nutrition feedback and adjustments

  • Recipes that match your macros.

Get Started Today

Once you have purchased your online fitness program, you will have immediate access to the entire program. You will receive an email prompting you to download the App. From here you will be able to set-up your profile, review your program and fill out the forms below. At any time you can submit any questions or concerns you may have, along with discussing any customization that might be needed for just you.

You will also receive your 7 day meal plan within 24-48 hours, so you can start meal planning and prepping.

You will always be able to access your program through the app or desktop. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, reach out via email or directly through the app.

Why Are Our Programs 8 Weeks?

Over the years we have learned that setting goals that are physiologically realistic and within a designated time frame are the best ways for you to commit to us, and for us to commit to you.​

First, from a physiological standpoint, our bodies take time to adapt to change. Whether it’s trying to gain muscle, lose fat, or run a 5k, it takes time. Realistically, it takes 6-8 weeks to see noticeable and measurable results. So, if you are looking for a quick fix, our programs may not be for you.​

Second, and honestly more importantly, it is about commitment. The commitment you made when you decided to trust us with your fitness goals. This commitment is what tells us that you actually want to receive true one-on-one coaching, and that you are ready and willing to make the commitment to your health and fitness. Not only for the 8 weeks, but for life.

What Happens When You Finish Your 8 Weeks

Once you have completed your initial 8-week program, you have the option of continuing that particular program, or switching over to any of my other online programs.

The Continuation Program allows you to continue your incredible progress and keep that momentum going! You will still have access to all the original features of both your fitness and nutrition program.

The cost of the Continuation Program is $49 a month. If you have finished your 8 weeks or are within the last two weeks of the program, please contact us and we will help you keep the ball rolling!
